We are seeking a passionate and experienced Online German Language Tutor to deliver engaging and effective virtual lessons to students across various proficiency levels — from beginners (A1) to advanced (C1). The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a solid understanding of German grammar and culture, and the ability to personalize lessons based on each student’s learning goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct interactive 1-on-1 or group German language sessions online via Zoom, Google Meet, or similar platforms.
• Create customized lesson plans based on student level (A1 to C1) and goals (academic, professional, travel, etc.).
• Focus on improving reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
• Assign homework, practice exercises, and regular assessments.
• Track student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
• Incorporate cultural insights to enhance language understanding.
• Maintain a positive and engaging online learning environment.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in German (minimum B2 or C1 level; native or near-native preferred).
• Certification in German language teaching (e.g., Goethe-Institut certification, DaF/DaZ, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Previous experience teaching German online or in-person.
• Strong command of English or another common language to explain grammar (if required).
• Familiarity with online teaching tools (Zoom, Skype, Google Classroom, etc.).
• Stable internet connection and access to a computer/laptop with camera and microphone.
